Over the past few weeks RAQ has been ensconced in the Barn working on the follow-up to its 2003 release Carbohydrates. Last weekend the band stepped out for a one-off gig at BB Kings in NYC (with moe.s Al Schnier joining in for Walking in Circles). On Saturday night RAQ will travel south from the Vermont studio to perform in Boston at the Paradise. Aside from being the final show of the year, the gig is also notable as the group will make the music available to its fans at the end of the night via Instant Live. As for the studio recording, it is tentatively slated for a spring release.
