Since this weekend marks the 40th Anniversary of the events which inspired Alices Restaurant, we felt it only appropriate to offer an update on Arlo Guthries Thanksgiving whereabouts . Guthrie will perform twice this weekend: Friday at Newarks NJ Performing Arts Center and Saturday at New Yorks Carnegie Hall. After shelving Alices Restaurant for the better part of a decade, Guthrie revamped his most famous composition this summer and will likely perform the suite-like narrative throughout the rest of 2005.
