Back in September 2003, John Scofield was scheduled to join Phil Lesh and Friends at Terrapins Summit on the Sound festival in Bridgeport, CT (the full Phil & Friends line-up was to include Branford Marsalis, Jimmy Herring, Joan Osborne, Rob Barraco and John Molo). Unfortunately, Summit on the Sound was cancelled, however, now more than two years later, Sco will finally appear as a member of Phil & Friends. On December 3 and 4 in Buffalo and Albany, the guitarist will step in for Larry Campbell (who has stepped in for Herring) as Campbell has other commitments.
