Gordon Stone will be touring with two sets of percussionists over the next six weeks. On some of the dates hell be joined by longtime Gordon Stone Band stalwart Russ Lawton (Trey Anastasio, Strangefolk). On other shows, however, Stone and bassist John McCartan will expand to a quartet with a pair of Senegalese Drummers, Modou and Demba. Lawton has signed on for shows this weekend in Montpelier (Friday at State Street) and Burlington (Saturday at RiRas). Looking ahead, Modou and Demba will appear at the end of December for gigs in Burlington (December 30, Miguel’s Stowe Away) and Montpelier (December 31, Langdon Street Caf
