While drummer Luke Smith is no longer performing with Strangefolk, he has started gigging out once again near his home in the DC area. Last Wednesday he appeared at the Warehouse with the group Revival (which is a duo with Josh Read on guitar and Evan Berodt on bass). On Friday night hell appear in a new setting, as the Home Bass Trio makes its first public appearance. Smith will join Kevin Gift (piano) and Ian Mikel (upright bass) at An Die Musik in Baltimore, for two sets slated for 8:00 and 9:30.
