Vegooses festivities will officially kickoff tonight with a pre-party at Las Vegas Tao Nightclub. DJ Logic will provide the music and all door proceeds will benefit The New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund. Vegoose has also confirmed a number of non-musical activities including a film series scheduled to take place at the Palm Resort Casino Monday. Select films include Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dazed and Confused, Almost Famous and Jammy producer Pete Shapiros All Access. In addition, the Blue Man Group has announced that it will be on hand throughout the weekend, perhaps taking part in such newly announced activities as the Elvis and Liza Minneli Costume Contest, Vau De Vires Twisted Cabaret Circus Tent and the Impersonators CafDepending of the citys legal laws they can even get hitched in the festivals onsite wedding chapel.
