Danyel Morgan and Marcus Randolph are best known as the rhythm section in Robert Randolphs Family Band. But, tonight, the New Jersey-natives will step out of their cousins shadow for the debut performance of Pearl Street at New Yorks Ace of Clubs. In Pearl Street Marcus Randolph will put down his drum sticks and show off his own pedal steal skills while Morgan will still hold down the bands bass duties. Since the evenings performance is an opening spot for fellow Family Band member Jason Crosby and his solo band one can expect a hefty amount of interplay within the extended Family.
