A number of notable musicians will mingle at San Franciscos Star Sapphire Ball on June 18. Aimed at recapturing the communal spirit of Haight Asburys original crop of improvisational acts, the Star Sapphire Ball will feature Dave Schools performing with a variety of his longtime collaborators in an informal setting. Guitarist Eric McFadden, percussionist Wally Ingram, keyboardist Dave Pellicciaro, drummer Paulo Baldi, guitarist Chris Haugen (Theresa Andersson) and DJ Motion Potion will round out the bill, taking place at the recently redone Mezzanine. On June 25, Pellicciaro, Whiton, Haugen and Ingram will also collaborate at a Widespread Panic post-party located at Denver, COs Quixotes with a possible Schools cameo likely.
