Last week Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Skerik and Mike Dillon performed two shows in New Orleans as Garage A Trois. At present the quartet is still in the Crescent City working on a forthcoming release. If this behavior sounds familiar it is because last year the band also remained in New Orleans following Jazz Fest for an acoustic recording which reportedly served as the soundtrack to the French film Outrer. That disc will be released this week even as the group (which draws its name from the French language and may even be ensconced in New Orleans’ French Quarter as you read this) works on its follow-up.
