The Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra is currently in the midst of a Thursday night residency at New Yorks Tonic. Last Thursday, the ensemble received a surprise visit from a trio of well-known Brooklyn residents. Near the end of the groups second set, TV on the Radios Babatunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone and Robert Low joined Antibalas for a pair of their songs, Bomb Yourself and New Health Rock. TV on the Radio is currently off the road while Anitbalas will offer its horn section to the Jammy awards tomorrow night.
