Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks has long aspired to facilitate a musical festival in the vicinity of his Palm Beach home. This year he has finally achieved that task with the Wanee Festival which will take place in Live Oak on April 15 and 16. Headlining the two nights will be the Allman Brothers Band along with an extneded family of bands also performing on the bill including Gov’t Mule, Derek Trucks Band, Oteil and the Peacemakers, John Popper, Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Galactic.
