While Umphreys McGee was scheduled to perform at the House of Blues in Los Angeles this Thursday the gig has been rescheduled. The word on the street is that the good folks at MTV’s Headbangers Ball needed to prerecord a Halloween show and apparently Umphrey’s just wasnt metal enough for them (apparently they have yet to see band manager Vince Iwinski do his James Hetfield). Instead, the UM date will take place at The Key Club on Thursday (one can only hope the group will throw down an Enter Sandman cover for good measure).
