Strangefolk, which will not perform this fall, has confirmed that it will indeed return in late December. The band will perform a New Year’s Eve gig at the State Theater in Portland, ME, which may well be the culmination of a brief New England run. This confirms what guitarist Jon Trafton posted to his section of the group’s web site last week, where he also stated ‘the sheer fact that Strangefolk still exists should be a testament to our drive, or maybe at this point our insanity. We have been through a lot. There will be more shows.’
