Last night at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium, Tennessee native Jack Pearson performed with the Allman Brothers Band once again. Pearson, formerly Dickey Betts guitar foil in the group before yielding to Derek Trucks, took the stage with ABB on Friday the 24th at the Fox Theater in Atlanta while in town for GABBAfest. Last evening he sat in for the final three songs of the night: ‘The Same Thing,’ ‘Mountain Jam,’ and ‘One Way Out.’ ABB drummer Jaimoe is one of numerous musicians on appear on Pearson’s latest self-titled disc. As for the Brothers, their tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd continues tonight at Mud Island Amphitheatre in Memphis.
