September 22 marks the opening date of the Vinyl east coast tour which will extend over two weeks. The group which recently released All The Way Live a double-disc set that includes guest appearances by Bernie Worrell, Rob Wasserman, Huey Lewis and others, will eventually travel down to Asheville, NC for a show at Stella Blue on October 2. Former Deep Banana Blackout percussionist Johnny Durkin joined the northern California-based band about a year ago, and his sister Jen (The Bomb Squad, DBB) is expected to sit in on September 23 at New York’s Mercury Lounge.
