Dave Matthews has announced plans to tour in support of his new solo album, Some Devil. Billed as An Acoustic and Electric Evening with Dave Matthews and Friends, the shows will feature guitarists Trey Anastasio and Tim Reynolds, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski (Viperhouse, Trey Anastasio), drummer Brady Blade and bassist Tony Hall. Blade also performs with Emmylou Harris and Spyboy, which will be the tours opening act.
The tour kicks off December 12 at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, PA and heads up the East Coast, making stops in Providence, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Hartford, Rochester and Chicago on December 22. After the holidays, the tour resumes January 12 in Seattle and includes dates in San Diego, Los Angeles and Oakland.
