Drummer Russ Lawton will make his live debut with the Aaron Katz Band this Saturday at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA. Lawton (Gordon Stone, Trey Anastasio) has also been recording with the group for the last couple months, as it works on a new studio album with producer/engineer Chris Magruder (Percy Hill’s Color In Bloom). Other new members in the band include Tobias Heaton (bass) Jason Yost (guitar) and Andrew Gallagher (keys and sax). A release date for the album has not yet been set.
