RAQ will enter the studio next month to begin work on a new record, its first with keyboardist Todd Stoops. The band will use Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Mark Johnson, who has worked with artists such as Keb Mo, Paul Simon, Los Lobos and Jackson Browne. The album is slated to be released early this fall.
The quartet has confirmed a handful of new dates, including a last minute gig at the North Star Bar in Philadelphia tonight. The schedule also includes a late show this Monday night at Tobacco Road in New York City, an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, and a set at the Endless Mountain Music Festival.
