Mike Clark and the Roots Funk All*Stars will take the stage at B.B. King Blues Bar & Grill in New York City on November 20. The band features drummer Clark (Headhunters), trombonist Fred Wesley (James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic), guitarist Fuzz (Deep Banana Blackout) and saxophonist John Ellis (Charlie Hunter Quartet). Other special guests are expected.
Clark’s most recent CD, Actual Proof features Charlie Hunter and was released in the fall of 2000. A new Headhunters album will released next year.
