ulu kicks off its fall tour tonight at The Fire in Philadelphia, PA. The group has added several dates to the itinerary, including a two-night stand in Baton Rouge, LA as well as two shows at the Maple Leaf in New Orleans. The schedule also includes stops Chicago, St. Louis, Buffalo, Rochester, Indianapolis and Tallahassee.
The band has announced that it will spend New Years Eve at Murrays Inn in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The show is a co-bill with longtime friends Uncle Sammy. The concert will feature alternating sets, similar to the bands collaborative NYE show at New Jerseys Mexicali Blues last year. The groups have performed with each other countless times over the years, including a 1999 private all-night jam session in Syracuse that featured an epic jazz-fusion version of Madonnas Holiday.
