_Once We Were Shadraq _an IMAX concert film that documents the life and music of Burlington-based Raq is expected to premiere later this summer. Principal photography has been completed on the film, with more than 250 CGI special effects to be added in post-production. Peter Shapiro is executive producer of the project which he deems a logical follow-up to his All Access film. Despite rampant speculation, there remains no confirmation as to whether Raq will perform at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
Raq will play a two hour set at the Relix subscriber party Friday April 5 at Winooski, VTs Higher Ground, opening for the Reid Genauer Band.
