John Scofield will release a new album next month. Titled Uberjam, the CD is due in stores on January 29. Scofield and his band, featuring Avi Bortnick on guitar,, Jesse Murphy on bass and Adam Deitch on drums will play December 30 at the Umbria Jazz Fest in Orvieto, Italy, opening for Medeski Martin & Wood.
