The Mockingbird Foundation has announced that its donated another $36,466 to music education for children. Funds are raised from sales of the 928-page book, _The Phish Companion _and the double-CD tribute album, Sharin’ in the Groove. Grants have been made to the Calimesa Joint Unified School District in Yucaipa, CA, the Shropshire Music Foundation in Litchfield, AZ, the Riverview Elementary School in Sioux City, IA, Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA, Feed God’s Children in Flemingsburg, KY, the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, CA, Conte West Hills Magnet School in New Haven, CT and the Colden Center for the Performing Arts at Queens College Flushing, NY. This is the third round of grants made by the Foundation, which brings the donation total to more than $170,000.
