Bluegrass stalwart Tim OBrien sat in with String Cheese Incident Saturday at Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC. OBrien, along with banjoist Billy Constable, emerged for a two-song encore to play mandolin and add vocals to Blue Night and Shenandoah Breakdown.
Following the show, String Cheeses Billy Nershi & Friends performed at the nearby Asheville Music Zone. The line-up included Nershi, SCIs Michael Kang, OBrien and Constable. The setlist consisted of several bluegrass standards as well as Lands End.
