Trumpeter Gary Gazaway, a.k.a. El Buho will be joined by special guests for two upcoming shows, November 9 and 10 at Antones in Austin, TX. The line-up features bassist Mike Gordon (Phish), guitarist Scott Murawski (Max Creek), drummer Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit, Leftover Salmon, Project Z) and keyboardist Peter Schimke (Michael Franks). Mike and I wanted to do some more shows together, says Gazaway. Mike’s been busy making movies, but we wanted to do the El Buho thing together again. He asked if I could get Jeff Sipe to play drumsThe Colonel [Bruce Hampton] is what we all have in common.
