Wetlands Preserve has announced that this weekends shows have been canceled. Steve Kimock was originally scheduled to perform last night and Bob Weirs Ratdog was slated to play the final two shows at the venue, tonight and tomorrow. If the last night at Wetlands was this past Monday night, at least we had a magical show, says Wetlands owner Peter Shapiro. To have Warren Haynes, Mike Gordon, Stanley Jordan and DJ Logic up on stage together was very special. Its a shame that our last week had to be cut short, but it’s obviously a much greater shame whats going on in the larger picture right now.
It remains to be seen whether or not there will be any additional live music at Wetlands after the weekend. An announcement will be made in the next few days.
