Derek Trucks sat in with Govt Mule Sunday night at the Van Hoy Music & Arts Festival in Union Grove, NC. Trucks joined the band for several songs including Feeling Alright, 32/20 Blues, Spanish Moon and Soulshine. Govt Mule is currently touring and features Warren Haynes (guitar), Matt Abts (drums) and Chuck Leavell (keyboards). Bassists Oteil Burbridge and David Schools are alternating dates on the tour. Schools performed with the band Sunday and Burbridge took the stage Saturday for the tour opener, also at the Van Hoy Festival.
