The Australian-based John Butler Trio has announced plans to perform in the United States for the first time. The group, which consists of Butler, drummer Jason McGann and bassist Rory Quirk, will is touring in support of its latest album, Three. The group will play September 7 at Street Scene in San Diego, September 11 at Tongue and Groove in San Francisco, September 16 at Winstons in San Diego, September 13 at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, September 14 at The Fillmore in Denver (opening for Govt Mule) and September 15 at the Fillmore in Denver (opening for Taj Mahal).
