Strangefolks Jon Trafton and Luke Montgomery took the stage with Reid Genauer and his band last night at Higher Ground in Winooski, VT. It marks the first time Trafton and Genauer have performed together since Reid parted ways with Strangefolk last September. Trafton (guitar) sat in on Love Junky, Roads and Sometimes. Montgomerty then added vocals to Stouted Hearted before Trafton returned for Rachel > 4 and 20 > Cold Wind and Rain > Rachel.
Genauers new band consists of Percy Hill bassist John Leccese, Moon Boot Lover drummer Andy Herrick and guitarist Adam Terrell. The group plays tonight at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, MA, tomorrow at The Skinny in Portland, ME and Saturday at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA.
