Steve Kimock has announced that he will perform with bassists James Genus and Alphonso Johnson for two upcoming festivals. Genus (Saturday Night Live Band) will play with the Steve Kimock Band August 10 and 11 at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA and Johnson (The Other Ones, Jazz Is Dead) will join the band September 1 and 2 at the Hog Farm Rock-n-Roll Pignic in Laytonville, CA. Former SKB bass player Bobby Vega parted ways with the group earlier this month.
On August 26, Kimock will collaborate with Widespread Panics John Bell and Jerry Joseph & The Jack Mormons at the Rolling Summer Festival in Huntsville, Utah.
