There were not a lot as I only use my ipod/iTunes to do homework for up coming gigs [laughter]
What was your favorite show or tour in 2009?
Of shows there were three: The Meter Men at New Orleans Jazz Fest, The Funky Meters in Tokyo and Runnin’ Pardners at Red Rocks Amphitheater August 8, 2009.
Tour there were four: John Scofield Tour in April and Porter Batiste Stoltz short tour in August, Global Noize short tour in September and The John Scofield Tour of Europe in November.
What emerging band should readers watch out for in 2010?
There are three from New Orleans: Terence Higgins and Swamp Grease, Water Seed and A re-energized Runnin’ Pardners band on the road.
What artist or artists will be most synonymous with the past decade?
For me it will be the New Orleans Artists we lost this year, Snooks Eaglin, Eddie Bo and Mrs. Juanita Brooks
