Toubab Krewe have confirmed that their Winter Carnavalito will take place at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC on January 18 and 19. The band will be joined by Dangermuffin on the 18th and Adron on the 19th. One dollar from every ticket purchased will be donated to Instruments for Africa, a non-profit that empowers at-risk children through music and works to preserve traditional music and arts in Africa. Concertgoers also are asked to bring canned food items to each show for the MANNA FoodBank. Fans that bring a minimum of 10 cans of food will receive a limited edition James Flames poster. Tickets to the shows are $16 for a single night and $27 for two-night passes. You can purchase them here. As previously reported, Toubab Krewe will kick off a tour with John Brown’s Body tonight at the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC.
