The Shockenaw Mountain Boys have confirmed a pair of shows. The string band features Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone (fiddle/guitar), John Skehan (mandolin) and Andy Goessling (multi-instrumentalist) as well as former Railroad Earth member and current Emmitt Nershi Band staple Johnny Grubb. The group will perform at Stanhope, NJ’s Salt Gastropub on September 12 and Denver, CO’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on September 13. The latter gig is an upcoming date for Railroad Earth. Railroad Earth will perform at Madison, WI’s Majestic Theatre on September 20.
