Kings of Leon will release their 10th full-length studio album, O My Beloved, on November 6 via Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music. The ensemble self-produced the record for the first time, stripping things back from the expansive sound that has defined much of their career and returning to the raw spirit of their early days on the festival scene.

“We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special. I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here,” lead singer Caleb Followill said in a statement of the new music, which reflects on their personal journeys. “In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realize how impactful they really were in my life.”

Alongside the album announcement, Kings of Leon have released “My Whole World,” the first single from O My Beloved. The song “emerged from a deeply personal place, with long-held memories and emotions finding their way into the music.” The result “is an emotionally charged introduction to the album and a glimpse into the more vulnerable side of Kings of Leon captured throughout the record.”  The Follow brothers lost their mother in 2021; their last record, Can We Please Have Fun, arrived in 2024.

To celebrate the announcement of O My Beloved, Kings of Leon will perform a special show this evening at the Basement East in Nashville. The intimate performance is intended to bring “the band back to the kind of club setting they played in as teenagers while working to make their mark in Music City, making it a fitting way to kick off this next chapter.”  The band will likely debut a slew of new songs during the show.
