Band members from Umphrey’s McGee and moe., will come together on Friday, October 17, for a one-off live performance. The gig is billed as a late-night concert at the intimate 220-capacity Carol’s Pub in Chicago, and slated to begin at midnight. The collaborative jam event will follow moe.’s Vic Theatre stand, slated to occur earlier in the evening, providing interested parties with a double dose of music in The Windy City.

Umphrey’s McGee will be represented by Brendan Bayliss and Joel Cummins, performing alongside moe.’s Al Schnier, Rob Derhak, and Vinnie Amico, during the forthcoming joint bill, cleverly listed as moe.phrey’s. The aforementioned show will follow other imminent collaborative gigs, beginning tonight, October 3, at Moontown Brewing in Whitetown, Ind., featuring Bayliss alongside Andy Frasco, Allie Kral, and Nick Gerlach.

The same group of players will perform on Saturday night, October 4, at Kenny’s Westside Pub in Peoria, Ill. From there, Jake Cinninger and Cummins will break into a duo for a special performance at The Alluvion in Traverse City, Mich., which preludes the newly announced late-night gig at Carol’s Pub.

Meanwhile, moe. will submit a series of East Coast appearances leading to their joint stand, including October 9-10 at Brooklyn Bowl New York, ahead of their October 11 performance at the historic Capitol Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now for moe.phrey’s October 17 late show.
