Govt Mule was joined by several special guests last night at the Warfield in San Francisco, CA. Les Claypool sat in for the entire first set, which included Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and two Led Zeppelin classics, How Many More Times and Since I’ve Been Loving You. He then returned in the second set for Tomorrow Never Knows.’ Other guests included Alphonso Johnson, who performed on What is Hip, Jack Casady and Pete Sears, who appeared for a portion of the second set that included Key To The Highway, and Rob Barraco, who added keyboards to a few songs including Going Out West. David Schools, who is playing several shows on the current Govt Mule tour, performed for much of the second set, highlighted by a cover of Neil Youngs Rockin In The Free World and the encore, Revolution.
