Will Bernard and Motherbug have confirmed a few additional dates. While the band is currently on the road opening for Robert Walters 20th Congress, a few headlining gigs have been announced. The group will perform December 3 at the Boom Boom Room in San Francisco, December 4 at Moes Alley in Santa Cruz, December 5 at Coppers in Nevada City and January 26 at Yoshis in Oakland.
In addition, Bernard will reunite with T.J. Kirk on December 27 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. That line-up includes Bernard, guitarist John Schott, 8-string guitarist Charlie Hunter and drummer Scott Amendola. The band draws its name from a few of its musical heroes: James Brown, Thelonious Monk and Rahsaan Roland Kirk.
Motherbug and Robert Walter play tonight at Quixotes in Denver. Bernard is also performing as a member of the 20th Congress for this tour. For details, visit www.willbernard.com.
