Over the past few years Jim Miller, formerly of Oroboros has jettisoned an M and formed a new group. The JiMiller Band recently issued a double-live disc, Family Roots, drawn from a performance at the Greenville Inn in Chagrin Falls, OH on September 20, 2003. The quintet will celebrate this release on Saturday with a show in Akron, OH followed by an all-acoustic gig the following Saturday at Kepners in Hudson, OH. Miller formed Oroboros back in 1980 and that group gigged for nearly two decades, including HORDE appearances and performances in Asia, before it disbanded and Miller assembled his current group.
