Well, they have gone and done it. On Saturday at Revolution Hall in Troy, NY, a440 announced that heretofore (or at least for the near future) the band will call itself the Unbelievable Meltdown. While some may feel that the new name lacks a certain subtly and grace, others will note the elevated excitement level of fans who have started referring to the group as U Melt (which may just seal the matter for the aforementioned critics). Irrespective of the moniker, the band does continue to energize audiences and at Revolution Hall it also enlisted the aid of saxophonist Shannon Lynch and members of The Bridge (for the original ‘Tomorrow, My Friend’ and a cover of ‘But Anyway,’ respectively). Feel free to express your views on the change to the band tonight at the Conduit in Trenton NJ.
