The Greyboy Allstars closed out a two night stand at San Francisco’s Fillmore on Saturday night with the addition of some additional players. Carlos Washington, who had been a member of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe before founding his Giant People, appeared late in the second set during ‘Let The Music Take Your Mind’ (Bonus: Giant People/KDTU fun fact: drummer John Staten was a member of the former group before joining Denson’s band last year). In addition, Cochemea ‘Cheme’ Gastelum who has performed with Robert Walter’s 20th Congress joined in for ‘Confusion.’ As for GBA, the group will play a one-off festival gig in Copper Mountain, CO on April 18 followed by 5 shows in May, including a two night stand at the House of Blues in Chicago on May 21 and 22.
