As our dutiful roman numerologist readers well know, M represents 1000. Our English alphabetician stalwarts also recognize that M is the first letter of Mule. With this nexus in place, we are here to report that Gov’t Mule will celebrate its 1000th show tomorrow night. This gig will take place at the Warfield in San Francisco and given the group’s history it is reasonable to expect that the band will not let this milestone pass without some manner of commemoration. The group’s official email update pledges, ‘We can guarantee that you’ll wish you were dead rather than miss this show’ and while the D is not capitalized (as our prescriptive grammarians likely noted) some manner of Dead sit-in certainly seems feasible.
