On Monday night Yossi Piamenta joined the John Popper Project for much of its second set. Last evening, some additional musicians made it to the Knitting Factory’s Tap Bar to collaborate with the JPP. The second set opened with Chris Barron and DJ Logic performing ‘The Road Takes Your Soul.’ They were soon joined by Mike Gordon and Popper for some extended improv. A bit later Topaz stepped in on sax. The four hour show also featured appeared by Seth Winters (formerly Feinberg) as well as Mike Jaimes (Native). The Project closes out its three show run this evening at Harry’s Roadhouse in Asbury Park.
