Last night, drummer Adam Deitch’s Tuesday night residency continued at New York’s Scenic. In addition to Deitch, this Project features a number of popular freelance and studio musicians including Dub Trio/G-Unit bassist Stu ‘Subby’ Brooks, Lauren Hill/Roy Ayers keyboardist Borom Lee, Lettuce guitarist Adam Smirnoff and Noble Society vocalist Jah Dan. Eric Krasno also sat in on a selection of untitled numbers composed the previous night. Krasno will continue to sit-in sporadically during Deitch’s Scenic residency which will feature different MCs each week. ‘This is not a cover band,’ Deitch says. ‘Not Jam-rock, not noodling electronica. Its an AD style trip hop, dub dance party.’
