Last week we reported that Tribeca Rock Club would be closing its doors in December to make room for New York’s rapidly-gentrifying downtown condo district. On December 7, two time New Groove Jammy winner Joe Russo will bid his former stomping grounds adieu by performing in a number of configurations over the course of a single night. Alongside Marco Benevento, Russo will appear on vocals and guitar for a selection of covers as Come on Falcon. Next, the busy drummer will play outlaw country-rock with Scott Metzger as Danjaboots. Each of the evening’s performers will then be joined by WEEN bassist Dave Drewitz for a set of Led Zeppelin as Bustle in Your Hedgerow.
