This weekend, two thirds of the Slip will once again perform with keyboard player Marco Benevento. On both Friday and Saturday at New York Citys Scenic, bassist Marc Friedman and drummer Andrew Barr will appear with Joe Russos steady collaborator (as a hump day treat we decided to spare you the Duo pun but if youre hankering for one, please insert your own here). The next night, Barr will perform as a member of a trio in a different context, playing the music of pianist Ben Schwendener at the Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge, MA.
