Since parting ways with Particle, Charlie Hitchcock has started work on a new record and lined up a series of dates with a variety of combos throughout California. Tomorrow, Hitchcock will perform a selection of songs with ALO at Santa Barbaras SoHo, before ringing in the New Year with Banyan at Mendocino, CAs Crown Hall. As reported yesterday, Hitchcock will also open Banyans New Years festivities as part of Eric McFaddens combo and participate in a free-form jam session with Willie Waldman and Rob Wasserman. While he readies his official homepage, Hitchcock has also set up a My Space page to keep track of his various projects. In the coming weeks, Hitchcocks former Particle bandmates plan to announce their plans for 2006, as well as some other exciting news.
