My Morning Jacket has been tapped to appear on the first leg of the upcoming Pearl Jam tour. MMJ, which is currently up for three Jammys, may well end up sharing notes on the event with Pearl Jam, which made its New York City debut at Wetlands Preserve nearly fifteen years ago (July 17, 1991). The Pearl Jam/My Morning Jacket dates will begin on May 9 with two shows at Torontos Air Canada Centre and wrap up on June 3 (the second of two announced gigs at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey).
