Dumpstaphunk rolled into New Yorks Sullivan Hall night and, as expected, a number of local players stopped by for a good ole fashion sit in. Throughout the late night set, no less than Eric Krasno, Cheme, Adam Deitch and Warren Haynes performed with the New Orleans-based band, which features the likes of Ivan Neville, Nick Daniels, Tony Hall, Raymond Weber and Ian Neville. For his part, Haynes appeared at the end of the groups first set on covers of Creedence Clearwater Revivals Fortunate Son and Alabama 3s ‘Woke Up,’ a number best known as the Sopranos theme song. Haynes has recently confirmed a new date with Govt Mule at Vail, COs Dobson Arena on April 10, while Dumpstaphunk will appear at South Burlington, VTs Higher Ground this evening.
