Celebrated slide guitar player Sonny Landreth has landed some renowned guests for his next studio effort. From The Reach sees Landreth sharing guitar duties with Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson and Vince Gill. In addition, Dr. John and Jimmy Buffett appear on the disc which is set for a May 20 release. Landreth is currently in New Orleans for the coming week, performing a number of shows in and around Jazz Fest (Tonight it’s The Parish at House of Blues).
