Jeff Tweedy and Bonny Light Horseman are the latest acts to join the lineup for the annual Newport Folk Festival. The musicians are part of a growing roster that also includes Gregory Alan Isakov, Haley Heynderickx, the recently reactivated Mountain Man, Todd Snider and If I Had A Song, an all-star tribute to event co-founder Pete Seeger celebrating what would have been his 100th birthday. Newport Folk Fest will return to Newport, RI’s Fort Adams State Park from July 26-28.

Bonny Light Horseman is a new project featuring Anaïs Mitchell, Fruit Bats’ Eric D. Jonson and Josh Kaufman, a member of Bob Weir’s Campfire Band, Yellowbirds and Hiss Golden Messenger. The trio have also confirmed a performance at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 on January 27.
